I'm delighted to let you know that the Open Studios is now opened. You can visit us from 10-13 November at Wimbledon Art Studios. You'll find me in Studio 259, second floor, red building.

I'm very excited to be presenting my big piece, 'Bubblecelli', 180 x 140cm, at the open studios. 'Bubblecelli' was inspired in a scene I witnessed at the National Gallery in London. I was drawn to the girl's attitude and her little interest in the painting.

This painting has to be experienced directly because it's size determines the way the gaze travels which I find very interesting. We find ourselves looking at a man looking at Botticelli's painting, and then we suddenly feel the girl looking at us, making us in a way part of the painting.

I look forward to seeing you at the open studios in the next four days.

Shuttle bus (Weekend only)
We have a shuttle bus collecting and dropping off visitors from Earlsfield Station and Tooting Broadway Station on Saturday and Sunday from 12.30 until 7pm.
